Anoop teaches in the Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) programme and visits students from across the programmes.
Education Background
Anoop started his teaching career as a primary school teacher in Fiji. Later, he worked as lecturer and practicum coordinator at a government teachers college in Fiji. He has been working as a lecturer with Te Rito Maioha from the last 12 years.
Research Background
Currently, Anoop is working on his doctoral thesis which focuses on teachers experiences with refugee children and their families. He is also pursuing research on Pacific children: “How is the language, culture and identity of pacific children supported and enhanced within mainstream ECE.”
Teaching Interests
Anoop is passionate about supporting students to become successful teachers and create a difference in their community.
