There is a memorandum of understanding, signed in 2022, whereby students studying for and completing the New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5) are given credit transfer for the following courses should they join a programme of study that is offered by Te Rito Maioha.

Maria Montessori Education Foundation
The Maria Montessori Education Foundation (MMEF) is an NZQA accredited Private Training Establishment that promotes Montessori training in Aotearoa New Zealand. MMEF and Te Rito Maioha have an agreement that facilitates a record of prior learning pathway into the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) degree for graduates of MMEF’s Diploma in Montessori Education (Level 7) who wish to continue their pathway to full teacher registration.
Universal College of Learning (UCOL)
Te Rito Maioha and Universal College of Learning (UCOL) have an agreement that facilitates a record of prior learning pathway into the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) degree for graduates of UCOL’s NZ Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Level 5).
ICL Graduate Business School
Te Rito Maioha and ICL Graduate Business School (ICL) have an agreement that facilitates a record of prior learning pathway into the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) degree for graduates of ICL’s NZ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 6).
