Te Rito Maioha staff at the Heretaunga takiwā acknowledge Ngāti Kahungunu as kaitiaki for Kahungunu. We have made a commitment to strengthen our relationships with Kahungunu ākonga, whānau, iwi and hapū so we may support their education aspirations and pathways to achieve mātauranga success, positively influencing their social, economic, environmental and holistic wellbeing (Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated Mātauranga Strategic objectives 2020-2027).
