Presenter - Victoria Kees, Course Leader Kaiārahi Marautanga and Lecturer Kaiako

Victoria is responsible for overseeing two courses as well as teaching in the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and supports tauira to deepen their understanding of early childhood contexts. Her interests include leadership, curriculum, cultures of thinking, teacher wellbeing, culturally responsive pedagogy, and research on equitable access to quality early learning.

With over 25 years’ experience across home‑based and centre‑based ECE, she has worked in teaching, leadership, and professional learning roles.

Presenter: Dr Lakshmi Chellapan, Senior Lecturer | Pūkenga Matua , Te Rito Maioha

Lakshmi is a senior lecturer at Te Rito Maioha in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, specializing in the Postgraduate Diploma of Leadership (ECE) and the Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) programmes. With over 25 years of experience across Early Childhood Education (ECE), Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Education, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her students. Her practical approach and commitment to education make her an asset to the online teaching community in Te Rito Maioha.
