Catherine’s regulatory knowledge comes from her previous work at the Ministry of Education where she was in various roles involving ECE legislation, regulation and guidance. She gained governance experience during her time as the chair of her local Plunket committee and at Playcentre where she was a member of the Wellington Playcentre Association executive team. She continues to be involved in the governance of community sporting bodies.
