The PLD is aimed at ECE kaiako and tauira/students, new entrants kaiako.
The goal of this PLD is to engage in hands-on curriculum specific practice (art, maths, science and technology) applicable to early years learners.
To enrich and nourish personal art practice and knowledge.
To experience inquiry based approaches to STEAM education through seeing relevant ECE examples.

Presenter: Dr Lisa Terreni - PhD, MEd, BEd, Dip Kindergarten Teaching
Senior Lecturer - Victoria University of Wellington
Lisa has been involved in early childhood education for many years - as an ECE Teacher, a Senior Teacher, and as a Professional Development Adviser for the Ministry of Education. Lisa was an ECE and Primary Lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington’s Faculty of Education, School of Education for 20 years and is currently an adjunct. She is also an artist.
