A time to connect for Liaison Teachers and Associate Teachers - Te Hono ki te kaiako Takawaenga - Christchurch
This is a chance to meet all the kaiako at the takiwā and to add to the knowledge you have about supporting children and families from the Pacific nations in your centre or school. A free event.

Christchurch - Thursday 23 April 2026 - 6.30pm-8pm
This is a chance to meet all the kaiako at the takiwā and to add to the knowledge you have about supporting children and families from the Pacific nations in your centre or school.
We will have a guest speaker talk about how early learning centres and schools can support our Pacific nations children and their families.
Participants will increase the connections they have across the takiwā, build on ideas for supporting the tauira they mentor, and develop a deeper understanding of supporting children from the Pacific nations.
This event is for all the Liaison and Associate Teachers that support the tauira in our early childhood and primary programmes.
We will start with drinks and nibbles and then move into our presentation.
