Role

In his role as an academic leader of the undergraduate and graduate programmes (early childhood education), Graeme oversees six programmes deliver high quality education for our diverse range of students.


Education Background

Graeme has been involved in tertiary education for more than 25 years. Prior joining Te Rito Maioha, Graeme was a lecturer at the University of Auckland. He has experience teaching from early childhood education to post graduate level.


Research Background

Graeme’s research interests are based around online teaching and learning, metacognition and Initial Teacher Education, construction and place of physical activity in education.


Teaching Interests

Graeme believes early childhood education is highly important for all tamariki as it forms the foundation for further learning.
