Located conveniently in Westfield Manukau you will find our beautiful takiwā ako. We have tauira across Tāmaki Makaurau from West, East, North and South and we support them all at our takiwā ako by zoom and face to face. We have a beautiful space and all are welcome.

We offer a range of support for our tauira, face-to-face and Zoom, students are welcome anytime and we also have study Saturdays during the semester.

Open hours

Mon - Thurs: 8am - 4pm
Friday: 8am - 3pm

Our team is available to assist tauira with applications, enrolment, studies and everything in between throughout their student journey.

Tauira are welcome to attend:

Fortnightly study sessions throughout the semester.
Information days/evenings
Scheduled drop-in sessions
Block Courses
Regional Education Centre events e.g. Pasifika fono, Matariki celebration, Orientation dates. Keep an eye on Te Rito Maioha’s Facebook for key information.
Professional learning development events for local kaiako (ECE and Primary).

We have an open-door policy, contact the team or visit us at the takiwā office to let us know how we can support you.

Room Hire

You can hire meeting rooms at our Regional Education Centre | Takiwā Ako. To hire a room, contact us and we will let you know about availability.
