We offer three choices for those studying an undergraduate diploma in ECE, each with a distinct
focus area:

The Bachelor of Education is a full-time degree that takes three years to complete. It is designed for individuals who work with children|tamariki in a non-teaching environment. After you have completed this qualification, you could become a refugee support person, youth worker, child advocate, and more.
This course introduces students to the concepts behind early childhood education, theories of learning and development, cultural identity and responsiveness, and the approaches to early childhood curricula.
If you want to train to become a kaiako after completion of this degree, you can go on to study for the one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching (ECE) programme.
