This is a series of 3 workshops that will introduce a range of leadership tools to support positional leaders in early childhood settings.  In session 1 we will explore the role of the leader and investigate tools that support leadership in a variety of situations.  Session 2 will look at how these tools can be implemented to support your specific context and situational challenges.  The third session brings together all we have learned and evaluates the effectiveness of the tools and how these can be modified for future use.

  • Be able to evaluate and modify leadership skills and practices

Facilitator:  Victoria Kees M.Ed. Lecturer | Kaiako, Te Rito Maioha ECNZ – Victoria brings 20 years experience as a trained early childhood teacher with 15 of these in a range of leadership roles. 

Facilitator:  Vikki Hanrahan M.Ed., Programme Leader | Kaiārahi Hōtaka, Bachelor of Teaching (ECE),  Te Rito Maioha ECNZ – Vikki completed her early childhood teacher training in 1999 and has 15 years experience in leadership positions.

Facilitator:  Raewyn Penman M.B.A., Regional Education Leader | Kaiārahi Matauranga ā Rohe, Te Rito Maioha ECNZ – Raewyn has been a trained early childhood teacher for 45 years, a centre owner and manager, and held leadership positions in the early childhood, disability and sports sectors.

  

Having learnt from their successes and challenges this group of women will share their extensive leadership experience with you and support you in your leadership journey.
