Cancellation and Refund Policy for Ketekete Mai Conference

All cancellations must be made through Eventbrite. Cancellation and refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

A full refund, less a 10% administration charge, will be given for cancellations made in Eventbrite four weeks prior to the event.

For cancellations requests made within four weeks prior to the event, a 50% refund will be given.

No refunds can be made for cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the event, with no possible substitute attendee. In such cases, full payment for any outstanding invoices is required.

If the conference is cancelled for reasons beyond the organizers' control, a full refund will be issued. All refunds will be processed after the conference.

Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but Te Rito Maioha ECNZ must be notified of any name changes for administrative purposes.

No refunds will be given to delegates who have booked but fail to attend the conference.

 

COVID19 Guidelines


We continually review our responses to COVID-19 in line with government policy and industry best practice. In the event of any changes to the event registration process and attendance guidelines, we will immediately notify our registered delegates.

All attendees must ensure they are healthy and well and practice good hygiene and sanitization consistently while attending the conference. Do not attend the conference if you are sick or have any symptoms, regardless of whether you are registered or vaccinated.

All our staff, speakers, caterers, delegates, and venue operators maintain strict levels of hygiene and safety at all times.

While not mandatory, we encourage all attendees to wear facemasks at the conference to help prevent an outbreak at the event.

Harassment and Inappropriate Behavior Policy


We adopt a zero-tolerance position on harassment and inappropriate behavior of any kind, whether professional, physical, emotional, or sexual. Any reported cases of such behavior will be investigated, and if the report is found to be true, it will be dealt with accordingly, including through our professional standards process. In some cases, we may refer an incident to external authorities for further investigation and potential prosecution.

We do not accept responsibility for any disruptions or issues arising from industrial disruption or unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the conference. The information on the conference website and in printed collateral is correct at the time of publication, but the conference organizers reserve the right to change it. We disclaim any and all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of any failure to operate, accident, or injury that may occur on services reserved.

We reserve the right to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and vary the advertised program. If the conference is canceled for any reason beyond our control, there is no right of exchange, and we assume no obligation for arranging a substitute speaker.

Privacy Policy for Ketekete Mai Conference

Your name will be added to the list of conference participants which will be shared with delegates and sponsors. Photos captured during the conference might be published on the conference website and Facebook page, and could be used in promotional material for future conferences. You can contact Te Rito Maioha ECNZ at any time if you wish to have images featuring yourself removed.
