World Forum Foundation

The World Forum Foundation works to promote an ongoing global exchange of ideas on the delivery of quality services for young children in diverse settings. The Foundation holds an annual event where early childhood professionals and advocates from around the world assemble to engage in work and dialogue to impact the futures of young children and their families. Jimei University - China

Jimei University is located in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China.  Te Rito Maioha and Jimei University work together on joint educational and research activities including the hosting of students from Jimei University to New Zealand on study tours and full study in our programmes.


RESRI - China

New Zealand Regius Education Sciences Research Institute (RESRI) is an independent research institute and think tank for information, marketing, research and events in education sciences. RESRI works with education providers in China for staff professional development. Te Rito Maioha and RESRI work to develop and deliver our international ECE programme in China.


Higher Colleges of Technology - UAE

The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Te Rito Maioha and HCT signed an Memorandum of Understanding and will collaborate to develop an enhanced version of our Bachelor degree programme in Early Childhood Education. Collaboration will be in the areas of student exchange and applied research projects in early childhood education topics. This will include a faculty exchange program, including virtual and in-person guest lectures to boost professional development opportunities.


Early Childhood Australia

The Early Childhood Australia (ECA) has been a voice for young children since 1938. They are the peak early childhood advocacy organisation, acting in the interests of young children, their families and those in the early childhood field. ECA advocates to ensure quality, social justice and equity in all issues relating to the education and care of children aged birth to eight years. Their vision: Every young child is thriving and learning. Their role in achieving this vision is to be an effective advocate for young children and a champion for quality outcomes in early childhood education and care.  Read more here.  ECA and ECNZ collaborate on joint initiatives through our Memorandum of Understanding.

Minerva Institute for Leadership

The Minerva Institute was launched as a joint venture with Semann and Slattery, Australia. The Institute’s role is to inspire and work with leaders in early childhood education. The institute, based in Sydney, will provide a centre of excellence for early childhood teachers on practice and research relevant to the ECE sector across New Zealand and Australia.
