This leadership professional development is a 3-part series which aims to support leaders and aspiring leaders to strengthen their leadership through critical reflection and self-awareness.

The facilitator of this PLD is carrying out research into ‘how the personal experiences of leaders may influence their leadership practice’.
Once you have registered for this PLD, you will be sent an email, asking for your consent to be included in this research project. If you consent, then you will be sent more information about the research project.
You may choose not to be part of the research project and still attend the leadership professional development programme.
It is VITAL that leaders commit to the three workshops as each session builds on from the prior workshop.
Workshop 1 – Exploring the personal and professional leader, (Understanding oneself and the influences on your leadership)
Workshop 2 – Making connections between your values and actions through critical reflection, (Making sense of your attitudes, beliefs and values and why that is important).
Workshop 3 – Making your leadership intentional through your values-based actions and self-awareness, (Strengthening your leadership to enhance positive outcomes for your team).
This leadership professional development is suitable for early career leaders or aspiring leaders from a range of leadership contexts
On completion of this professional development:

Presenter
Andrea Driver, Regional Education Leader | Kaiārahi Matauranga ā Rohe, Te Rito Maioha
Andrea is the Regional Education Leader of the Heretaunga takiwā of Te Rito Maioha. Andrea has been part of the Hawkes Bay education and social service community for more than 25 years, having taught across both primary and early childhood education settings. Andrea brings recent experience as a specialist early intervention teacher and learning support service manager within Te Mahau, Ministry of Education. Andrea has a Postgraduate Diploma Specialist Teaching – Early Intervention and is currently working towards a Masters of Professional Practice – Leadership
