The theme of our conference is, Our Teachers, Our Future | A matou kaiako, to matou ao apopo.
This theme reflects that this conference is for teachers and educators and will be future-focused. The conference will be providing professional development to help teachers development towards the future of the early childhood education (ECE) profession, our tamariki and their whanau, and New Zealand society.
2020 is going to be a pivotal year for the future of our sector, with implementation of the Early Learning Action Plan and Education Workforce Strategy, and Teaching Council changes to initial teacher education.
Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand wants to help teachers navigate the changes, identify the opportunities and be confident.
This conference will be making the most of modern technology, be highly interactive and will be a must attend event for the ECE sector.
Conference will be Friday 3 April to Sunday 5 April
