Tertiary education fees free

Fees-free tertiary study or training is now available for eligible learners.

You are eligible for a student loan and/or allowance if you are a New Zealand citizen, or have permanent residency, and meet StudyLink criteria.

This award is a memorial to Judy Kaa, National President of Te Rito Maioha Early Childhood New Zealand from 2008 to 2015 for our Postgraduate students.

Aperfield Montessori are offering a scholarship for students of the New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood (Aperfield Montessori).

There are currently five textbook scholarships available to students. 

Each year TeachNZ, part of the Ministry of Education, offers a limited number of Scholarships to encourage people to train as teachers in the areas where there is greatest need.

Toitu Kaupapa Maori Matauranga - Maori Education Trust provides financial assistance for Maori students undertaking tertiary study.

This is for Maori students studying in any field in any tertiary education institution. Preference is given to descendents of Maori World War One veterans.

Pacific Islands Polynesian Education Foundation and the Norman Kirk Memorial Trust provide financial assistance to Pasifika students who are enrolled at tertiary education institutions in New Zealand.
