Born and bred in Ōtautahi, Nikki has worked in the early childhood sector for over 20 years in a variety of contexts.  She has extensive experience in teacher education, governance and leadership and has held leadership roles in several early childhood organisations. 

Nikki believes that the early years of a child's life have a critical impact on their lifelong development and is committed to high quality learning experiences that lay the foundations for later learning.
