This is a role with variety and depth. As General Manager Finance & Operations you will lead and manage financial services, information technology, telecommunications, property, procurement management, business operations and student and administration services. You will also provide Company Secretarial support to the Council (Board) and Chief Executive (CE), and liaise closely with Council and any sub-committees, specifically the Audit and Risk Committee. Your team will look to you for guidance and support and the organisation will be relying on your thoughtful stewardship.
You will be a qualified chartered accountant; have strong leadership ability and proven experience in leading business and corporate service functions; be experienced in strategic and financial activities, planning, monitoring, reviewing and reporting. You will have empathy for, an understanding of and a commitment to te ao Māori and biculturalism.
