Dr Rosina Merry
Director Teaching, Learning and Research
Rosina has worked in the early childhood sector many years, first as a teacher and then as a director of a large community childcare trust. She was a senior lecturer at the University of Waikato before taking up the position of Director Teaching and Learning with Te Rito Maioha.
Rosina has a passion for e-learning with a particular focus on student engagement and lecturer presence.
She was a Flexible Learning Leader (FLLinNZ) during 2005 and 2006 and recently completed a Ph.D. Through her doctoral study, Rosina developed a conceptual model, which supports initial teacher education providers to understand how student teachers integrate ICT into their teaching practice.
